What are the signs of a clingy boyfriend? Spending all of his spare time with you. Never giving you personal time. He never lets you do anything with anyone else. It's like you are married but worse. There is a woman in her 40's struggling with personal issues. This started with PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). This woman is with a 55-year-old man that has spent 17 years of his life in the prison system. I wonder if the problem is that he clings due to not being used to the normal world?

Little Old Vietnamese Man

I was waiting by the bus stop to meet a friend for breakfast. This little old man came up to me and said hello. His eyes were leveled with my breast, so of course, he kept looking at them. He asked where I worked twice, and I told him twice I go to school. I told him I lived at the building down the street. He asked if I was single. Then he asked," It's been long time without a boyfriend?". I said a few months. Then he asked to be my friend, and of course, how do you say no to a little old man. He told me he was from Vietnam. He must have been at least 60 something. He had the light color ring around his pupil.

What is really funny, is that a friend of mine is usually with me when I am walking on Colfax and notices that men think I am a working women. In this case, I had casual work clothes on. I don't know if anyone likes this blog or at least has stuff like this happen to them please comment on this blog.

Comcast/Xfinity Bad customer service #Comcast

Comcast needs to work on their customer service. They do not like to help with issues and treat certain customers better than others. They are so concerned with trying to get more money that they end up loosing new and current customers.

My friend was called and was convinced to sign up for Comcast service. He was scheduled on a Tuesday but they didn't show up. So the company rescheduled him on a Saturday. The tech came but visited another apartment then stated to his Comcast that my friend was available. So I helped he get rescheduled for another Saturday with a $20. Today's visit the tech comes and doesn't even try to see if he could get any channels manually. He just said to the customer "I can't help you because your tv doesn't work right, you need a remote, and we will hold your account for a month". I know that he could have made it work, but he clearly looked in a hurry and wanted to leave.

Companies like this one should consider what they do to e…

Being Treated Different

Today on my way back from the plasma, when I saw this guy, Santiago, and he was asking home i'm doing.  Then he started complimenting me saying that I was holla-able, and may he she holla. Then after a couple of stops another young man got on the train, I was starting to dose off when he starting talking.  I thought he was talking just to be friendly, but he received a call, then he continued his conversation.  I think he wanted to sound important.  He talked until I got off the train.  During my exercise walk, some guy in a truck drove by honking at me.  I know he didn't know what I looked like from behind. Finally, I caught the bus to the store to buy diner food.  On my way back some guy in a green car honked then pulled into Autozone, I shook my head no as he passed by but he still pulled into the parking lot.  As I crossed the driveway, he asked if I wanted a ride.  This time I had a witness, a lady pulling her shopping cart looked surprised and concerned.  I just kept wa…

Library homeless

I was told that one day in the later part of spring a man dressed in regular clothes walked around the library leaving money in envelopes.  Some people he must have felt intimidated by because he would wait until the left for the restroom and leaving the envelopes under their books. He gave some $20 and some $50. I was so happy for them.

Meat Diassociation

This story is to show how a some people can leave the Homeless community with by being housed but will not let go of the mentality. I have two friends that came from this comunity and both are living in their on place. There are certain rules in the Homeless community that can not be broken because it can be considered disrespectful. I lost one friend over some delicious meat because I broke an unspoken rule from that community. I will start with my closest friend, who will be called Will for this story. Will and I have been friends for about 4 years. He is Gay, is employed,  and pays his own rent. Will and I have a mutual sharing relationship.  Whoever has more money pays and the other will catchup whenever.  He loves to eat so he is always trying to feed me, not just fast food but the best that he would eat. Will works a lot and doesn't spend the quality time like we used to. Sometimes I see him once a week but we always have fun. My other friend we will call Joe. Joe and I ha …

Homeless in Denver

Drug deal gone wrong

I'm here at the library trying to have a conversation about the Motorola G when I saw a drug deal go wrong. The addict was trying to return the drugs for money but dealer pushed him back.  The addict was a still persistent with showing the drugs in hand to dealer as if to say, 'this is not my money's worth'. It continued for a while by a vehicle and finally the dealer gave in to addict. Dealer passed more drugs to addict but addict didn't give up.  As dealer was getting into car, he passed addict even more drugs before he took off in car. I don't know about you buys but if you saw this in daylight would you a) call the cops b) tell addict you must be really addicted, or c) mind your business?

Problem with Homelessness

People look at homeless people as being dirty, always begging, and lazy. The real problem is that once you get there it is hard to come out. People look down at you which lowers your self-esteem. You don't have income so it always seems like you are begging. No matter how hard you are looking for work, when they find you are homeless they immediately think you are lazy.

I was homeless at one time but work since I was 14yrs old. I did stop two other time but of course, I was pregnant and enrolled in school. I love being productive but don't know how to reach out to the world to let them know that being homeless doesn't mean you can't achieve or even have goals. How can you get there when everyone turns you down.
I wanted to come up with a website for the homeless in Denver to help them find resources to move them in directions to help themselves. This would be a lot of work but I would need help from several people to keep this information up to date. On top of this, I …
